Pleased to announce Linden Blossom absolute is back in stock. One of my essential oil suppliers was able to procure this jewel from France. It is so rare to have this magnificent wild-harvested absolute oil available.
The elegant Linden tree can grow to 66-131 feet. It produces graceful heart-shaped leaves and yellow-white flowers that emit a rich, heavy scent, which attracts honey bees and bumblebees.
The young early summer leaves and flowers have a long history of use as a medicinal herb, and the flowers produce an exquisite absolute oil. Linden blossom helps to calm the mind and ease one into sleep. Great for stress, nervous tension, and panic attacks. It is considered a heart tonic and helps with headaches and migraines.
When I smell the absolute of Linden Blossom, it causes me to pause and relax. It takes me to a place of peace and warms my heart. When I hand it to people to smell, I have to ask for the bottle back. The reaction is always the same—they stand there and keep inhaling its beautiful aroma. It is truly a gift to have such a precious absolute in stock.
This absolute is 30% absolute*/70% of perfumer’s alcohol.
Comes in a 5ml-dropper bottle.
*Absolutes are obtained from the solvent extraction of the flower producing concrete by the second process of solvent extraction, using pure alcohol (ethanol). The alcohol is removed by evaporation, which requires a gentle vacuum towards the end of the process. Due to the thick pastiness of Linden Blossom absolute, it is added to perfumer’s alcohol to produce a liquid.
