Essential oil is obtained from steam distillation of the dried leaves. Its earthy aroma promotes a grounding and balancing effect. Seems to banish lethargy and sharpen the wits, thereby clarifying problems and making the mind more objective. Helps to curb the appetite. Helps relieve the ill effects of insect and snake bites.
